Kol HaEmek is pleased to announce that catered Round-the-Table Shabbat services and meals will be happening again this year, due to generous contribution from Norm and Karen Rosen, and your ongoing donations. Round-the-Table services are a lovely way to end the school/work week by getting together with family and community to sing songs, connect with where we are in the Jewish wheel of time, and eat delicious food.
The next Round-the-Table Shabbat will be on Friday Sept. 13th at 6pm. We are very happy to have Falafeels Good back again to cater a vegan meal of the best falafels in town. Check out their Instagram here: https://www.instagram.com/falafeelsgood
Kohenet Rayna Grace will lead the service. We'll have entered the month of Eul (beginning Sept 3rd). This is the time leading up to the High Holidays of Rosh Hashanah and Yom Kippur. It is a time to "wake up", and to begin the work of self-reflection. As part of that "wake up" we blow Shofar each day. If you have a shofar, please bring it, even if you don't know how to blow it! Elizabeth Raybee will be leading us in a short Shofar tutorial.
Space is limited and this event requires an RSVP. Click the LINK TO RSVP today!
